We had dinner at the Belper on Saturday, it was fabulous. It was the best meal we have had there in years. The service was great, it is clean and inviting. I had the shin of beef and it was delicious! It is so nice to see it open and being run properly. Well done to the new team.

My family has lived in the village for over 30 years and we are so pleased to see The Belper returned to it's former glory.
The pub was packed with locals yesterday for Christmas Day drinks, what a wonderful sight. We've now been several times for a roast and it has been spot on each time. Yesterday's Christmas Dinner did not disappoint, generous portions with all the trimmings and it all tasted great. The personal Christmas card for each table was a lovely touch, it was a real home away from home.
We would 100% recommend a visit, something we haven't been able to say for many years. Thank you to all the wonderful staff and the excellent chef.
